FastBee IoT Platform — V2.4 Released

FastBee has released V2.4 — a simple, easy-to-use IoT platform that is even better suited for small and medium-sized businesses and individuals.

Our team recently upgraded the FastBee system and the SCADA, and the latest version that many users have been waiting for is finally online. The specific upgrade highlights are as follows:

1. Main System Updates

1.1. Redesigned Gateway and Sub-device Management

The gateway has been redesigned to support both direct connection and sub-device binding, making it simple and easy to use with fast, convenient configuration.

1.2. New Scene Management

New scene management, equivalent to device grouping, brings together gateways, direct devices, or individual sub-devices. You can also create scenes to register computed variables, support more complex calculations and statistics along the time dimension, and bind SCADA and video monitoring.

1.3. New Data Bridge

New data bridging supports HTTP push, MQTT bridging, and database storage, on both the input and output sides, making it easier to bridge data between systems.

1.4. New Language Internationalization

New language internationalization: the web client, mini-program, and app all support multiple languages, and different languages can be configured.

1.5. New Data Center

New data center that displays the runtime status of a single device's data and the historical data of multiple Thing Models of a device, making data analysis easier.

1.6. Data Collection, Data Debugging, and Command Permissions

Devices gain data collection, with a list showing the real-time status of device Thing Models; new data debugging supports simulated reporting and downlink commands with values generated in real time; the new command permission feature supports assigning more specific usage permissions for a particular device to a particular user.

2. SCADA Updates

With the completion of the main system's v2.4 development, the SCADA has also been upgraded to v2.0 alongside it, supporting standalone SCADA, template SCADA, and scene SCADA configurations; the image library has been improved (for reference only), and some components have been added and optimized.

2.1. Template SCADA

One template SCADA binds to one product. Once the SCADA design is complete, it can be viewed directly under the device, displaying the device's runtime status in real time.

2.2. Scene SCADA

One scene binds to one SCADA, which can be viewed on the scene detail page, displaying the scene's runtime status in real time.
