FastBee IoT Platform — Version 2.5 Released
Our team has recently upgraded the FastBee system, and the long-awaited V2.5 release is finally live. This release mainly adds new features, optimizes features from previous versions, improves the system and UI, fixes some bugs, and completes documentation and testing. The details of this upgrade are as follows.
1. New Features
1.1. New Modbus TCP Protocol Support
Supports the standard Modbus TCP message format, which consists of the MBAP message header and the PDU frame structure.
1.2. Video Surveillance Voice Intercom
1.3. New ShardingSphere Framework
Enables database sharding, table sharding, read/write splitting, and more, improving SQL query efficiency.
1.4. TDengine Upgraded to Version 3.2.2.0
1.5. ZLMediaKit Docker Image Update
Supports web-based admin console and WebRTC features.

2.1. OTA Upgrade: Development and Compatibility of Two Approaches
2.2. Modbus Gateway Product Configuration Improvements
Applies to the Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP protocols.
(1) When a gateway product is configured as the Direct Device type and uses polling, you can set up polling tasks on the product side, and newly created devices will inherit the product's polling tasks.
(2) When a gateway product is configured as the Gateway Device type, you can bind products of the gateway sub-device type on the product side. When creating a new gateway device, the system automatically creates a gateway sub-device for each bound sub-product (one sub-device per sub-product) and binds them to the gateway device, which simplifies configuration.
